Assessment of needs

We are equipped to recommend aids based on our many years of experience and expertise, but also through tests we can administer to ensure we’re providing the safest solution. So in the case of mobility scooters for instance, we will walk you through all the manoeuvres together, but we also supply an easy “highway code for scooter users” booklet, which covers the legal requirements and best practices for scooter use.

Installation and Set up

Everything we sell is set up for you individually, ready for use. This includes mobility scooters, wheelchairs, rise-recline chairs, electric beds and stairlifts.

Maintenance, Services and Repairs

We recommend an annual service of our mobility scooters. This typically costs £40 locally; we will pick up the scooter and deliver it back within a day. This includes a full service on tires, batteries, lights, brakes, electronics and even a polish. If needed we can provide a free loan scooter during this time. All mobility aids should be checked reasonably regularly to ensure they are in full working order. There is no call-out charge locally (we are Thanet based), and necessary repairs are acted on immediately. Just let us know!

Currently it’s not a legal requirement to have insurance for mobility scooters, although some finance companies do insist on it. Nonetheless it is a very good idea to make sure you are covered for fire and theft, accidental and malicious damage, and third party damages. We can provide all the insurance you will need, so give us a call for options and up to date prices.

We typically loan out:

  • Wheelchairs for £5 per day (£100 refundable deposit)
  • Mobility scooters for £10 per day (£200 refundable deposit)
